Lilith Fair

Josh was an executive producer on Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery, a documentary exploring the cultural impact of the 1990s all-female music festival founded by Sarah McLachlan. The festival sent shockwaves through the music industry and its effect is still felt to this day. 

The Big Cigar

Josh was an executive producer on The Big Cigar, an Apple TV+ limited series that tells the true story of Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton’s escape from the FBI to Cuba—an audacious plan orchestrated with the help of Hollywood producer Bert Schneider. 

Radical

Sundance Festival Favorite Award

Josh produced Radical, a true-story drama about a teacher who transforms the lives of his students in a Mexican border town. The film premiered at Sundance in 2023 and went on to win festival award around the world while setting records at the Mexican box office. The film is based on Josh's 2012 Wired cover story.

Breaking

Sundance Special Jury Award: Ensemble Cast 

Josh was an executive producer on Breaking, a drama starring John Boyega as Brian Brown-Easley, a Marine veteran whose fight to be heard leads to a desperate standoff. The film is based on a true story.

Little America

Josh was an executive producer on the Apple TV+ anthology Little America, a series that tells the true stories of immigrants across the United States—each episode exploring a different journey, voice, and perspective with humor, heart, and humanity. 

Moon Shot

Josh and JJ Abrams produced Moon Shot, a documentary series about the global competition to send privately funded missions to the moon. The series was directed by Oscar winner Orlando Von Einsiedel.

The Beast Within

Josh co-directed and starred in this documentary about his journey to the World Armwrestling Championship in Gydnia, Poland.
